TEACHING

For the past five years, Liliana Padilla has taught playwriting and acting at Dartmouth College. Courses integrate rigorous craft with physical practice, drawing Grotowski and Viewpoints, and inviting writers to think through the body as well as the page.

Liliana has taught at UC San Diego and the University of San Diego, and led intergenerational workshops at the Sewanee Writers’ Conference and the La Jolla Playhouse.

Liliana’s teaching center risk, specificity, and presence, supporting writers at every stage of practice.

Liliana will be offering private classes and one-on-one mentoring in Fall 2026, reach out for more details.

“Working with Liliana fundamentally changed the way I see the world. Liliana gave me the space to dream as big as I possibly could while also thinking carefully through the practicals of how to get there.”
